VIVAnews - Bank Indonesia (BI) said in statement that Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves today reach US$100 billion as compared to last week of US$98 billion.

"We're on the right track," said BI Governor Darmin Nasution today, March 2.

According to Darmin, the Indonesian economy, amidst the political crisis in Egypt and Libya, is still promising.

Statutory reserve policy which is issued in March 2011 as well as year-on-year inflation of 6.8 percent have reflected the stable financial condition.

Earlier, Darmin estimated that foreign exchange reserves by the end of the year may reach US$110-120 billion.
