VIVAnews - Attorney General Basrief Arief said investigators are ready to ban seven suspects of alleged graft in PT Chevron Pasific Indonesia from going abroad.
"One of the conditions for the ban is that we have the suspects' pictures," he said, on Thursday.
Basrief said investigators are now probing into the seven suspects of the case.
The case began as a deal between Indonesia's oil and gas regulator, BP Migas, and PT Chevron was signed. The agreement specifies about the cost recovery instrument.
The remediation process that should have taken place during the deal was denied by two private companies that Chevron assigned: PT Green Planet Indonesia and PT Sumigita Jaya.
In addition, the budget for either the remediation process or cost recovery has been disbursed by BP Migas worth US$23 million. The Attorney General's Office have named seven suspects in the case. In details, five suspects are from Chevron - Alexiat Tirtawidjaja, Widodo, Kukuh, Endah Rubiyanti, and Bachtiar Abdul Fatah - while two others are from the private companies: Ricksy Prematuri (director of PT Green Planet Indonesia) and Herlan (director of PT Sumigita Jaya).
