VIVAnews – Member of the Democratic Party's Advisory Board, Achmad Mubarok, said all members of the coalition of parties will facilitate the scheme set up by the Justice and Prosperous Party (PKS).
“PKS have all this time said that they are ready to break up from the coalition. They claimed that their votes have declined since joining the coalition. We have agreed to facilitate their will,” Mubarok told VIVAnews, today.
If PKS is ready to leave the coalition, Mubarok also suggests PKS to give up position of their ministers from the cabinet. “Logically speaking, the ministers’ substitutes will be from the coalition,” he added.
However, regarding the technical matters of the facilities and ministers’ substitution, Mubarok handed it over to Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the President who holds the prerogative rights.
“The coalition of parties will meet and discuss (about PKS),” he added.
PKS’s position in the coalition of parties has been uncertain since the party took side against the government during the House of Representatives’ Plenary Session on subsidized fuel price increase on 31 March 2012.
