VIVAnews – The defendant of Sea Games Athlete’s dorm bribery case, Muhammad Nazaruddin, revealed about another fund channelled to the Democratic Party Faction in the House of Representatives (DPR). The fund is related to the allocation of the Regional Infrastructure Development Acceleration Fund (DPPID) of the 2011 State Budget.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently investigating the fund’s allocation. For the fund allocation in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province, the Commission has established a member of the House’s Budget Agency from the National Mandate Party (PAN) Faction, Wa Ode Nurhayati, as a suspect.

“Wa Ode wasn’t the only person who receives the fund in the Wa Ode Nurhayati’s case,” said Nazaruddin after attending a trial in the Corruption Court in Jakarta, on Monday evening.

In addition to PAN Faction, Nazaruddin also accused the Democratic Party Faction to also receive share from the allocated DPPID fund. One of the faction’s recipients is the former chairman of the Democratic Party Faction, Jafar Hafsah, via his advisor from the Regent of North Sumatra, Totar D. M. Purba.

“In the Democrats, Jafar holds the fund. His advisor took the fund from the staff of North Sumatra’s Regent, as evidenced by a receipt. The fund is the regional’s expense budget set out in the 2011 State Budget,” said Nazaruddin.

Nazar mentioned the name of the Deputy Chairman of the House’s Budget Agency from the Democratic Party Faction, Mirwan Amir, as the person in charge of managing the DPPID fund. Nazaruddin will confirm the details later to KPK.

“So, I will testify to KPK about how Mirwan Amir manages the regional expenses owned by the Democratic Party Faction. Now, KPK has the evidence, that is the receipt. It’s up to them to investigate into it or just to leave it as it is,” said Nazar while pointing at the receipt signed by Jafar Hafsah’s advisor named Kamhar Lakumani worth Rp1,750 billion from Totar DM Purba on November 7, 2010, in Jakarta.

“The important thing is that I will report about the game played by the Democratic Party Faction, where the fund went.  I will explain all in detail,” he said.

As previously known, Wa Ode Nurhayati stated about the involvement of the Budget Agency's Chairman in the case. In fact, the evidence submitted to KPK is sufficient to prove the alleged offense committed by the leaders of the Budget Agency.

“I have submitted all data related to the PPID to the investigators, now only the legal process left,” said Nurhayati.

Unfortunately, Nurhayati still maintain the confidentiality of the identity of the alleged leaders of the Budget Agency.

“I have submitted the evidence to the investigators, let the investigators explain later.  The facts will all be revealed in the court,” he said.

Wa Ode Nurhayati was named suspect on December 9th of last year on the allegation of receiving gratification.

Wa Ode also received Rp6 billion from a businessman named Fahd A Rafiq, who has also been named a suspect in a case that determined 3 districts in Aceh, namely Pidi, Benar Meriah, and Aceh Besar, as the recipients of PPID fund.
