VIVAnews - Minister of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs), Dahlan Iskan, plans to recompose the board of directors of PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines (MNA) following the previous measure taken over state oil and gas company PT Pertamina.
It was reported that Merpati Nusantara President Director, Sardjono Jhonny Tjitrokusumo, and its Chief Commissioner, M Said Didu, had earlier been removed from their offices.
"I've been no longer in the office for the past two months," said Didu on Monday.
According to Didu, the reason behind the minister's decision was untold. "I've no idea about it. You may ask the Ministry of SOEs on the issue," he said.
Dahlan and Sardjono have yet to provide details on the recomposition.
Earlier, Dahlan had signaled the public about the recomposition of SOEs' board of directors during his visit to a sugar refinery in Yogyakarta on Sunday.
He said a new board of directors would be announced in no time.
"There will be some SOEs whose board of directors will be recomposed," he told VIVAnews.
