VIVAnews - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) announced that the procurement project of bird flu vaccine infrastructures in the Ministry of Health between 2008 and 2010 was indicated to have caused losses to the State. BPK released a blacklist of companies involving in the crime.
"Such companies as PT AN, PT MN, PT ANP, PT NBP, PT DMS, PT CDP, PT TBP, PT GI, and PT BRG have been included in our blacklist," BPK said in a press release.
BPK stated that irregular partnerships have been carried out among parties concerning the project worth Rp718,800,551,000 (US$76 million) resulting in a possible state loss of Rp347,454,559,601).
In the report, Secretary of Directorate General of Disease Control and Environment Health at Ministry of Health declined the finding.
The report shows that the State is also subject to a potential loss of Rp224,440,849,401 due to unused eqipments.
