JBIC Disburses US$100 M to Indonesia EximBank

VIVAnews - The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) disbursed the Indonesia EximBank (IEB) US$100 million worth of fund.

The deal has been sealed by the board of directors and executive director of Indonesia EximBank, Mahendra Siregar, and JBIC Finance Department Asia and Oceania Head, Nobuyuki Higashi, on Friday, Oct 23.
 
Mahendra said the loans are important for the Indonesian development especially in export.
 
The loan is part of the agreement between Indonesia and Japan in accordance with the G20 forum.
 
"The US$100 million worth of loan is part of the US$500 million commitment agreed during the G20 forum," he said of Friday, Oct 23.

The total US$500 million is part of the trade financing agreement in the G20 forum worth US$250 billion.

The loan disbursement may adopt the form which is concerned with export-focused production such as export trade and buyer's credit.
